To browse the web we provide you with documentation about the very popular Mozilla-based Firefox (see Chapter 9, Surfing The Web With Firefox [81]. Since it’s also available on Windows, it’s seriously threatening Internet Explorer’s monopoly. With it you can enjoy tabbed browsing, watch RSS feeds, as well as the other standard web browser features such as managing bookmarks. On the instant messaging front, we provide you with documentation about Kopete (Section 1, Instant Messaging [93]). It supports the most popular instant messaging protocols like MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger. If you prefer using IRC (Internet Relay Chat) we discuss X-Chat in Section 2, IRC Using X-Chat [95].
